Arsenal News: Arsene Wenger counting the cost of Alexis Sanchez departure
GETTY Arsene Wenger substituted Alexis Sanchez during the 4-0 defeat to Liverpool Wenger admits the Gunners are writing off up to £70m by refusing to sell Sanchez, who is out of contract next summer. But he also admits replacing the Chile star will cost at least that much again after Arsenal failed with a £92m bid for Monaco’s Thomas Lemar.
