Arsenal Cologne: Police deploy additional officers to handle Emirates chaos

Extra police officers were deployed to the Arsenal v Cologne game Arsenal are set to kick off their Europa League campaign against Cologne tonight. However, the game has been marred by crowd trouble, delaying the kick-off by an hour. Some 20,000 German fans are said to be at the Emirates, despite only being allocated 2900 official tickets. There have been accusations the match has been under-policed, however, more officers are said to have been deployed to the game. Met Police say extra officers at Emirates. Spokesman: "A policing plan is in place for the game. Additional officers have been deployed."
