Arsenal set to beat Man United to Bundesliga anchorman
Arsenal are prepared to table an offer to sign Manchester United target Ilkay Gundogan from Borrusia Dortmund ahead of their league rivals, according to reports from the Metro. The 24-year-old was believed to be cleared for a switch to Old Trafford, but having been a long term target for the Gunners, they are prepared to make another attempt for his services. Manager Arsene Wenger has reportedly tabled an £18.4million offer during the January window, but the German giants rejected the deal.
