Robert Pires: 'Mesut Ozil frustrated over lack of Arsenal summer signings'
Arsenal legend Robert Pires has claimed that Mesut Ozil is unhappy with Arsene Wenger for failing to significantly improve the Gunners squad. The North Londoners broke their club record to sign Alexandre Lacazette for £52.7m this summer, but signing of Sead Kolasinac on a free transfer was their only other first-team recruitment move. Pires, who still trains regularly with Arsenal, stuck up for Ozil following criticism of the Germany playmaker for a number of below-par performances for the club.
