Jack Wilshere 'must pass Arsenal medical'
Arsenal have reportedly informed Jack Wilshere that he must undertake and pass a full medical in order to earn a new long-term contract with the club. The 26-year-old is out of contract at the Emirates at the end of the current campaign and while it initially appeared that he could be set to leave, his renewed form in recent months has put him in a strong position to earn a new deal. The Gunners are said to have adopted a tough stance over his potential new terms, however, due to the player's unimpressive injury record that has seen him spend a total of more than 1,000 days on the sidelines in the last seven years.
