Arsene Wenger rotates his goalkeepers at Arsenal and leaves Petr Cech out of cup games
David Ospina has been Arsene Wenger’s preferred option between the sticks in the Europa League, Carabao Cup and FA Cup this term. It is a tactic the Frenchman has adopted with his goalkeepers for a number of years and is often criticised by supporters. Due to an injury to Ospina last season, Cech played in the FA Cup quarter-final and semi-final wins over Lincoln and Manchester City respectively, before being dropped when the Colombian was fit for the final against Chelsea.
