Official: Arsenal Confirm Fifth Summer Transfer And New Kit Number
Arsenal have confirmed that they have made their fifth signing of this summer transfer window with the acquisition of Matteo Guendouzi (via Arsenal.com). For many Arsenal fans, this week was always going to be about Lucas Torreira and the announcement of the midfielder's move to the Emirates. However, today the club has announced that they signed another central midfielder, Matteo Guendouzi. The 19-year-old Frenchman arrives from Lorient with a high reputation after being courted by a number of major European clubs.
