Mkhitaryan tops December Goal of the Month poll
Henrikh Mkhitaryan's controlled header against Southampton has topped our December Goal of the Month poll. After good work up the left flank between Alex Iwobi and Nacho Monreal, the Armenian international ran on to the latter's cross to plant a header into the bottom corner. Henrikh Mkhitaryan finished a flowing move against Southampton Mkhitaryan's strike gained 40 per cent of the votes cast, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's second goal in the north London derby win against Tottenham finishing narrowly behind.
