Arsenal set to make farcical contract decision this summer - report
Arsenal could hand Danny Welbeck a new contract despite his injury woes, per the Daily Mirror, with his current deal expiring this summer. What’s the word? Welbeck has played just eight times in the Premier League this season, with his last appearance coming against Liverpool in November, when he lasted just nine minutes. An ankle injury has ruled him out of the remainder of the campaign but the Mirror claim that he is making good progress in his rehabilitation. The club are, therefore, considering offering him a fresh deal.
