An Olympic gold medal winner with Germany, Leonie Maier needs no introduction. Our third summer signing arrives with plenty of pedigree, and says she will bring plenty of passion to an already impressive back line. “I had a very good conversation with Joe,” Maier told Arsenal Player. “He convinced me to join Arsenal and because of his style of playing football, his idea of playing football and for me he’s a very good coach, and a very great person too. “I know Lisa, Viv and Viki too.
