The Great Pretender….
Morning all. Straight after the game I started to write today’s article but stopped when I realised what I was writing was very little different to that around five/six years ago. The personnel are different of course, much different but what we get to see on a match day remains so similar. Identical almost. If you or I had gone to sleep in 2013 and only woke up as Mike Dean blew his whistle to start the game yesterday evening, I’m sure that had the cameras not had a reason to zoom in on our dugout, we’d have assumed Arsene Wenger was there still struggling with the zip on his coat.
