Arsenal target La Liga star in cut-price deal
Arsenal are reportedly interested in a deal to sign Villarreal striker Gerard Moreno who has a £3m buyout clause inserted in his contract, the Mirror reports. Moreno has had a wonderful season for the Yellow Submarines – scoring 16 goals this campaign including an impressive strike against Real Madrid in March – helping his team to a sixth place finish. At 23, Moreno is destined for a future at the top-level. The report suggests that we have scouted the striker on a number of occasions this season, and he remains a target. Arsenal transfer news
