Arsenal target demanded higher pay than Alexis & Özil
Reports have been suggesting that James Milner would prefer a move to Liverpool this summer over a switch to the Emirates (via The Guardian), but it seems there is more to the story than that. We look to be the ones who have turned the England international down, after he demanded to be made the highest paid player at the club (via the Evening Standard). Arsenal transfer rumours Milner is coming to the end of his current contract with Manchester City, and is able to move on a free transfer this summer.
