Fiorentina 'remain in negotiations for Lucas Torreira'
Fiorentina are reportedly locked in talks over a potential summer deal for Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira. The 24-year-old only joined the Gunners from Sampdoria in July 2018 but has struggled to settle in the Premier League and is expected to leave the club before the transfer deadline at the start of October. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Fiorentina view the Uruguay international as a priority signing this summer and are currently locked in negotiations over a move. The report, though, does not specify whether the Italian outfit are directly in contact with Arsenal or are instead attempting to come to an agreement via the South American's agents.
