Sunderland offer £2m loan fee for Arsenal's Carl Jenkinson
West Ham United want to keep defender Carl Jenkinson on loan from Arsenal for another season but they face stiff competition with several other Premier League clubs in for the right-back. Arsenal have no intention of selling Jenkinson, 23, who they still regard as having a first-team future at the club with West Ham hoping that his development with them will convince him to stay at Upton Park.
