Wilshere Admits Gascoigne Film 'Gazza' Inspired His Performance Against Slovenia
It has been reported that Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has revealed the Paul Gascoigne film 'Gazza' inspired his performance against Slovenia on Sunday. The left-footed midfielder had not managed to score in any of his first 27 appearances for the Three Lions but scored a stunning brace in the 3-2 victory over Slovenia in Euro2016 qualifying in Ljubljana. 'I watched the film on the plane and yeah it did inspire me a bit,' Wilshere said. 'You could tell by the way he was going out and playing for England, he didn't feel any fear. He was over that.
