Sunderland agree terms with Arsenal to sign defensive ace
Sunderland have reached an agreement with Arsenal to sign Carl Jenkinson on a season-long loan, according to reports from the Mirror. The 23-year-old spent the previous season at West Ham United, but despite their efforts to keep him at Upton Park, the right-back is likely to move elsewhere. Southampton have also been keeping an eye on him as a potential replacement to Nathaniel Clyne, who is heavily linked with a move to either Liverpool or Manchester United.
