Arsenal 'close to agreeing deal for Sporting Lisbon teenager'
Arsenal are reportedly nearing an agreement with Sporting Lisbon for teenage attacker Tiago Tomas. The 18-year-old has already made 25 first-team appearances for his Portuguese club during the 2020-21 campaign, contributing five goals and two assists in the process. Tomas only signed a new long-term deal with Sporting last June, with the Portugal Under-19 international contracted to the Lisbon giants until the end of the 2024-25 campaign. However, according to The Sun, Arsenal are close to finalising a summer deal for Tomas, with the London club's technical director Edu in talks with Sporting director of football Hugo Viana.
