Arsenal owner Stan Kroenke confirms new Granit Xhaka contract in programme blunder

Arsenal's billionaire owner Stan Kroenke has confirmed Granit Xhaka's contract extension in his programme notes for the club's first home game of the season. The Switzerland international has reportedly agreed a two-year extension to keep him at the Emirates until the summer of 2025, with his current deal due to run out in 2023. However, the deal has not yet been officially announced but has now been leaked by the club's owner ahead of their London derby against Chelsea on Sunday.
