Ray Wilkins: 'Petr Cech is great signing for Arsenal'
Former Chelsea coach Ray Wilkins says that Petr Cech will have plenty to offer to Arsenal if he joins them from the Blues. The 33-year-old goalkeeper is reportedly on the verge of completing a switch across London to the Gunners, having fallen behind Thibaut Courtois in the pecking order at Stamford Bridge. Wilkins, who worked with Cech at Chelsea, says that the shot-stopper will prove to be an excellent signing for Arsenal. "He's a magnificent character – as a bloke he's first class and we know he's a magnificent goalkeeper.
