Marseille Winger Florian Thauvin Hoping To Hear From Arsenal
It has been reported that Olympique Marseille winger Florian Thauvin is keeping Newcastle United hanging as he seeks a move to London. The Daily Star claims that Newcastle are understood to have met the Marseille's £14m asking price from Thauvin after upping their opening £10.75m bid. But the France Under-21 star has turned down a move to Tyneside in the hope either Arsenal or Tottenham to firm-up their interest. After rebuffing Toon's initial bid they were set to accept the improved offer and allow the player to discuss a move to the Premier League.
