Arsenal Pushing To Open Talks With Abdul Rahman Baba
It has been reported that Arsenal are in contact with Augsburg defender Abdul Rahman Baba. The Sunday Mirror claims that the Gunners are set to enquire for the 20-year-old left-back after the player's agent Sascha Empacher travelled to England last week in order to begin talks. Augsburg's Klaus Hofmann said earlier this month: 'We will certainly not sell Baba for 20m. We are a perfectly healthy club, Baba is one of the top talents in the world. Anyone who wants to offer us a number like 20m, they can save the cost of the call.' Empacher met with Chelsea officials last Friday.
