Arsenal confirm Danny Welbeck, Alexis Sanchez will miss Singapore trip
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Danny Welbeck and Alexis Sanchez are among the players who will miss the team's pre-season trip to Singapore. Welbeck's absence is down to his failure to recover from a knee injury that marred the closing stages of his season in the 2014-15 campaign. Sanchez and David Ospina have been handed extended holiday due to their participation in the Copa America, while Serge Gnabry and Tomas Rosicky have also been left out of the 27-man squad.
