Chuba Akpom to be given chance to establish Arsenal first-team place
Chuba Akpom will be given the chance to establish himself as a first-team player in the forthcoming campaign after the 19-year-old scored a hat-trick in Arsenal’s opening pre-season game. A Jack Wilshere penalty completed the 4-0 win over a Singapore Select XI, putting Arsène Wenger’s side through to Saturday night’s final against Everton. But it was Akpom who commanded most of the attention.
