Arsenal make approach for £24.4m Italian defender
Arsenal have made an approach to sign AS Roma star Alessio Romagnoli, according to reports from the Metro. Romagnoli has been heavily linked with a move away from Roma this summer after a successful loan spell with Sampdoria last season, with Serie A giants AC Milan also keen on his signature. However, Milan have already had three bids turned down by the capital club, which has opened the door for the Gunners to make a move.
