Aston Villa Close To Signing Arsenal Target Jordan Amavi
It has been reported that Aston Villa are set to close a deal for Nice defender Jordan Amavi in the next 24 hours. Amavi is due in Birmingham today for a Villa medical. The Birmingham Mail says just a few minor formalities remain before the 21-year-old defender's switch from the French Ligue 1 club is wrapped up. Subject to the final details being agreed, Amavi is expected to report to training at Bodymoor Heath early next week, along with fellow new boy Idrissa Gueye.
