Arsene Wenger: 'Danny Welbeck will miss start of the season'
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has revealed that Danny Welbeck will miss the start of the Premier League season. The 24-year-old has been struggling with a long-term knee injury, which ruled him out of the club's pre-season tour of Singapore. Wenger has disclosed that the England international has not made sufficient progress in his recovery to be fit for the start of the campaign. "Welbeck is not in full training yet, he has not fully recovered," the Frenchman told reporters.
