Arsenal beat City to sign creative French midfielder Ismael Bennacer
Arsenal have reportedly beaten Manchester City to the signing of 17-year-old starlet Ismael Bennacer who is set to sign a five-year deal with us, according to L'Equipe. Bennacer seemed set to join the former Premier League champions, but it appears as though we have stolen a march on them and lured the youngster to north London. Currently plying his trade in Ligue 2 with Arles, Bennacer has been described as a creative midfielder and we're set to pay £150,000 in compensation for his services (via the Metro).
