Arsenal Set To Drop Interest In Real Madrid Striker Karim Benzema
Reports have emerged claiming that Arsenal's pursuit of Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has hit a roadblock, with the Gunners unwilling to pay Los Blancos' asking price for the French international. The Mirror is reporting Arsenal remain interested in the Benzema, but are not prepared to spend outside their budget to lure the 28-year-old to North London. Despite the Gunners' shock 2-0 loss to West Ham United on the opening weekend of Premier League action, manager Arsene Wenger is unlikely to rush into the transfer market for reinforcements.
