Besiktas make enquiry over move for £42.5m Arsenal star
Besiktas are believed to be interested in the services of Arsenal star Mesut Ozil despite the player being a Fenerbahce fan, according to reports from the Express. The 26-year-old joined from La Liga giants Real Madrid for a fee of £42.5million back in the summer of 2013 and has become one of manager Arsene Wenger’s key midfielders. There have been claims made by a former Besiktas board member Erol Kaynar, who revealed that the Turkish giants have made an enquiry over a possible move for the Germany international.
