Arsenal confirm Wellington loan
Arsenal have confirmed that Wellington Silva has joined Bolton Wanderers on loan for the 2015-16 season. The Brazilian will spend the campaign in the Championship, a far cry from La Liga, and one wonders if it's telling that there were no Premier League clubs willing to take him. At 22 he's not a kid anymore, and despite doing reasonably well with Almeria last season, it wasn't enough to catch the eye of any top flight managers. Nonetheless, it'll be interesting to see how he gets on closer to home, and if he can make an impact in a league that's a long way from what he's used to.
