Blame the owner or the manager?
Well, this seasons transfer window wasn't a debacle, it wasn't a train wreck either. It was nothing other than a massive anti climax for all Gooners, because to be defined as any sort of debacle, something needed to happen! I'm sure most of us had high hopes that at some stage Wenger would spend and make a red hot dash at winning the PL, and possibly even the CL. It was our time. Ten years of settling for grinding out a place in the top four was trumped by winning two FA cups in a row. We had a squad two, possibly three players off being a true title contender, but we got one and a goalkeeper at that.
