Arsenal legend claims fans feel cheated by lack of summer transfers
Arsenal legend Paul Merson believes that fans have every right to feel cheated by manager Arsene Wenger’s lack of new signings in the summer transfer market, according to reports from Sky Sports. The Gunners have been linked with a plethora of players during the window, with the likes of Karim Benzema, Edinson Cavani, and Gonzalo Higuain all reportedly on their shortlist. However, Wenger only secured one major deal in the addition of goalkeeper Petr Cech from Chelsea, with the Czech Republic captain arriving via a £10million transfer.
