Mesut Ozil reveals reason behind joining Arsenal
Mesut Ozil has revealed that he decided to join Arsenal because he knew that they would play an attractive brand of football. The German midfielder moved to the Emirates Stadium from Real Madrid for £42.5m in the summer of 2013. Ozil has said that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger played a big role in his switch to North London. "Before I joined, I knew that Arsenal were always a technically-strong team," the 26-year-old told the Daily Star.
