In the act of watching his side lose 2-1 to Dinamo Zagreb in their Champions League group stage opener on Wednesday night, Arsene Wenger passed a decidedly undesirable managerial milestone. Arsenal endured a grim old evening, eventually going down to Zagreb after being reduced to 10 men in the first-half thanks to Olivier Giroud's slightly soft dismissal. Just to pile on the misery, however, Wenger also became the first ever manager to bring up a half-century of Champions League defeats in the process.
