Arsenal linked with £80m bid for Serie A midfielder
In what can only be described as the biggest grasp at straws you might ever see, the Daily Express say Arsenal are prepared to bid £80 million to sign Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba. A report from the paper say the club will go after the midfielder after his countryman Morgan Schneiderlin emerged as a transfer for Barcelona. This despite the Catalan club's transfer ban which sees them unable to sign anyone until next January, it must be said. And because of our inability to get the Southampton star who could now move to Catalonia in a £25m deal, instead of looking at the more affordable options we've been linked with Lars Bender, Ilkay Gundogan, we'll immediately up our bid by £55m...
