Arsenal boss sidelines star midfielder ahead of Monaco Champions League clash
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has confirmed that star midfielder Jack Wilshere will not feature in Wednesday’s Champions League clash against Monaco, despite the England ace just returning from a four-month layoff, according to report from the Daily Star. Wilshere was named on Wenger’s substitute bench in the Gunners’ 2-1 away win over Crystal Palace during the weekend, but will be sidelined as a precaution for the visit of Monaco in the round-of-sixteen.
