REVEALED: Arsenal's Olivier Giroud lifts lid on smoking culture

Olivier Giroud says many players smoke
The 28-year-old made the claim when asked about Arsenal teammates Jack Wilshere and Wojciech Szczesny. Szczesny was fined for lighting up in the showers after defeat to Southampton on New Year's Day. While Wilshere has been spoken to three times by manager Arsene Wenger, most recently after he was spotted holding a shisha pipe in a nightclub. But the French international expressed his lack of surprise at sportsmen smoking. Speaking to French newspaper L'Equipe, he said: "Everyone knows that there are a lot of players who smoke.
