Mertesacker Full Of Praise For Arsenal Teammate Petr Cech
Reports are out claiming that Arsenal defender Per Mertesacker has praised summer signing Petr Cech for his impact on the Gunners' performances this season. The German defender believes that Cech's command of his area gives an assurance to the Arsenal backline. 'You know that if they get a really clear chance Petr can do something about it,' Mertesacker said. 'He's always someone who can save your day. That gives everyone a big lift, not only the back four.
