£35m Arsenal target could leave Real Madrid after controversy
Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema is set to finally make a move to England, according to reports in the Metro. The striker was heavily linked with a move to Arsenal in the summer, though opted to remain in the Spanish capital where he has been plying his trade since 2009. However, recent circumstances such as his rumoured involvement in the controversial blackmail case involving international teammate Mathieu Valbuena are thought to have changed the situation.
