Unhappy Arsenal star hints at January exit due to squad depth
Mathieu Debuchy has found his starting spot swept from under him this season, with Hector Bellerin's superb performances making him our undisputed first-choice right-back. The Frenchman doesn't seem capable of handling the competition, and has hinted that he may look for an Emirates exit in January, as reported by French publication Canal + (via Get French Football). Squad depth is hugely important, and we've seen the problems caused by injuries this season. We need players who are willing to fight for their place though, not just give up and look for the exit as soon as they aren't first choice.
