Arsenal To Face Chelsea Competition For French International Winger
It has been reported that Chelsea are preparing a new bid for Atletico Madrid winger Antoine Griezmann. According to the Sunday Express, under fire boss Jose Mourinho had the 24-year-old on his wanted list in the summer but was told the player, who only signed 12 months previously for £25 million from Real Sociedad, was staying put. But Chelsea are ready to make another attempt to sign Griezmann and are prepared to pay around £40 million to land their man. They are desperate for more goals having seen former Atletico Madrid forward Diego Costa struggle this season, Radamel Falcao flop and Loic Remy used only sparingly.
