Chelsea Preparing Bid For Ex-Arsenal Captain
It has been revealed that Chelsea are being linked with a sensational move to bring Robin van Persie back to the Premier League. The former Arsenal and Manchester United captain has had a difficult first few months in Turkey, having joined Fenerbahce in the summer. Van Persie has been at odds with Fener coach Vitor Pereira and quitting Istanbul as early as January is emerging as a realistic option. According to Fotomac, Chelsea are monitoring developments, where manager Jose Mourinho would seek to swap on-loan Monaco striker Falcao with Van Persie. The striker is also being linked with a short-term deal at Barcelona.
