Arsenal star ‘embarrassed' after Champions League shocker
Olivier Giroud has slammed Arsenal’s Champions League performance against Monaco on Wednesday night as ‘embarrassing’, reports the Telegraph. The French striker lasted just 60 minutes of the Gunners 3-1 defeat at the Emirates, missing three decent opportunities with the game at 1-0 – one of which saw him blaze over from six yards with the keeper on the floor. Arsenal have a mountain to climb in the second leg if they are to qualify for the last 16 for the first time in five years, having conceded three away goals to the Ligue 1 side.
