Mesut Ozil follows Alexis Sanchez by agreeing bumper new Arsenal deal
Influential Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil has reportedly agreed terms on a new contract to extend his stay with The Gunners, according to Spanish publication Don Balon. The club are currently looking to tie down a number of their bigger name players to new deals with the German international said to be one of the main priorities. Reports last week claimed that preliminary talks had already begun, but now Don Balon say that Ozil has agreed terms on a new deal to keep him at The Emiates. The report also claims that the deal had been agreed upon all the way back in September, but Arsenal had been waiting on Alexis Sanchez to tie up his own extension before announcing it.
