Özil issues rallying call ahead of Olympiacos game
Arsenal star Mesut Ozil has issued a rallying call to the side ahead of tomorrow's game against Greek side Olympiacos (via Arsenal.com). The Gunners head into the final group stage match knowing that defeat would mean elimination from the Champions League, something that we have avoided for 15 seasons. However, thanks to a poor start to the campaign which saw us lose our opening two games, Arsenal need to win by at least two goals tomorrow at the Karaiskakis Stadium (with a few other permutations acceptable). Our previous encounter with Olympiacos ended in a 3-2 defeat at home thanks to some defensive shambles, which included David Ospina dropping the ball into the net and the entire team...
