Arsenal legend frontrunner to become new Swansea manager
Arsenal legend Dennis Bergkamp has become the front-runner to replace Garry Monk as the new Swansea boss, according to reports from the London Evening Standard. The Swans started their Premier League season quite well with two wins and two draws in their opening four games, but since then have only managed one victory in their last eleven, losing seven. These poor results convinced chairman Hugh Jenkins to sack Monk as the club’s manager earlier this week, with the likes of ex-Liverpool gaffer Brendan Rodgers and former Manchester United chief David Moyes linked with the role.
