Giroud displaces Arsenal legend as third fastest player to 50 goals
Olivier Giroud has become the third fastest Arsenal player to reach 50 goals in Premier League history, knocking Arsenal legend Dennis Bergkamp down a place in the rankings. The Frenchman gets a huge amount of stick from pundits and fans, but the stats show he's up there with some of the best strikers in the game – both past and present. The striker has taken just 113 games to reach the half century mark, with only Ian Wright and Thierry Henry ahead of him in the list – hardly bad company.
