Mesut Ozil ready to pen bumper new Arsenal deal
Arsenal fans will be given a huge boost by the news that star playmaker Mesut Ozil is ready to finally put pen-to-paper on a bumper new contract with the club, according to the Metro. Ozil has been in phenomenal form so far this term, and now looks set to shatter Thierry Henry's assist record for a season, having notched up an impressive 13 already. The Gunners have recently began working through their side to tie down their best players to longer term deals, and it now looks as though Ozil will be the latest to commit his future to the club. The report claims that Ozil will be offered a deal worth £8.2million-a-year, which will be the biggest deal the club has ever offered to a player....
