Arsenal Legend Surprised Mourinho Lasted So Long At Chelsea
It has been reported that Arsenal great Martin Keown has expressed his surprise at the timing of Jose Mourinho's sacking at Stamford Bridge. Keown was shocked that the Portuguese manager lasted this long as Chelsea's manager despite the horrendous start to the Blues' season. When asked if the London club were right to sack Mourinho, the former Arsenal defender told the Daily Mail: 'Probably. 'Given Chelsea's track record for sacking managers it's remarkable he lasted this long. 'It felt like things were spiralling out of control and I'm sure the club were worried about what he might say or do next.'
